Following an over 25-year career in the lighting and electrical products industry, Susan is Principal of Susan Bloom Consulting, where she provides a broad range of targeted communications for the consumer and corporate/business sectors alike:

Corporate Experience

  • Prior to launching Susan Bloom Consulting in 2010, Susan was Director of Corporate Communications & PR for Philips Lighting North America, where she managed the division’s daily communications needs and media relations activities as well as high-profile projects including Philips’ sponsorship of the world-famous Times Square New Year’s Eve Ball. Susan has been published and/or quoted in a variety of publications, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and a broad range of trade magazines and has appeared on such broadcast outlets as CNN Headline News, Fox News, Today in New York (NBC), NY1, News 12 New Jersey, CBS Radio, and more.

Education

  • Susan is a graduate of Cornell University with a BS in Business Management and Communications and also holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in the Marketing concentration from the State University of New York at Albany.
